Doha, October 11 (QNA) – The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) has inaugurated Tuesday “Rasikh” initiative in collaboration with Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development in the presence of HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi.

The “Rasikh” initiative is an educational platform on the internet and is affiliated with Qatar Foundation and it is available for all schools in the State of Qatar, and aims to offer a high -quality educational experience with local vision through enabling the schools to combine between educational curricula, local knowledge and innovations, values, heritage and national identity.

On this occasion, MOEHE’s Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Maha Al Ruwaili affirmed MOEHE’s keenness to provide a high-quality education for students and achieve excellent educational outputs, as well as enabling the outputs of educational system to positively respond to the opportunities and successes laid out by the twenty-first century and Qatar National Vision 2030.

She pointed out that the impact of this initiative will not emerge immediately, expressing her aspiration to gauge the impact of the initiative during the coming years through graduating locally-rooted generations, adding that the cooperation between pre-univerity education and MOEHE has been permanent and pervasive with the extended cooperation ties since the inception of the pre-univerisity education, noting that Rasikh” is not the first initiative for QF, but was preceded by multiple initiatives and projects.

Maha Al Ruwaili pointed out that the preservation of the Qatari identity comes within the efforts of QF, indicating that the objective of establishing the platform entails the promotion of rich knowledge and innovation in the State of Qatar. (QNA)
