Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs launches “Hasana” Campaign for Women next Sunday
Doha, October 12 (QNA) – Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs represented by the women activity of the Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance announced the launch of “Hasana” campaign next Sunday, which will last until the third of next November, with the participation of a group of Islamic preachers in several areas in the country.
Women Activity Section explained that the events are held at the Qur’an Memorization center in the Al-Waab area, and in 12 other different centers around Qatar, in addition to a number of girls schools, Qatar University, and a public evening for womens groups, as well as specialized lectures for students, preachers and teachers in Islamic schools in the country.
Head of Women Activity Section of the Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance, Nawar Al Mahmoud explained that the concept of this campaign started last year, and its is about to spread the correct faith, and to enhance the education to all the community groups, pointing out that the choice of the title “Hasana” is based on the fact that “intellectual and religious immunity is very important for society, especially with the rapid development and openness to other cultures.
Al Mahmoud also has stated that the campaign includes holding 46 lectures and events in different areas of the country, including: 9 womens Qur’an memorization centers and 3 civil centers, as well as one of the Qatar University’s external halls for public events, in addition to 14 remote lectures.
