Doha, October 23 (QNA) – During a coordination meeting organized by private associations and institutions in the State of Qatar, they discussed the most important obstacles and challenges they face, and ways to help them perform their tasks and activate their role in community service.

The coordination meeting was organized between the boards of directors of private associations and institutions in the State of Qatar, in the presence of representatives from the department of private associations and institutions of the Ministry of Social Development & Family, in addition to the heads and members of the boards of directors of the: certified accountants, Qatari engineers, Qatari nursing, Qatar photographic society, livestock, Mental Health Friends Association, and other associations.

The meeting dealt with the axes necessary to help these associations perform their tasks, including: the obstacles they face, cooperation mechanisms in the third annual exhibition of associations, setting an approved annual budget for community service, the possibility of canceling annual licensing fees, advertising fees prescribed every three years, and the mechanism for associations participation in cultural and social events in the country, as well as the mechanism of having a permanent headquarters for private associations and institutions in one place.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants Dr. Hashim Al-Sayed, spoke about the importance of such meetings, stressing that they represent an opportunity to introduce the role of these associations in community service, present the obstacles that affect the performance of their role and discuss ways to overcome them.

He praised the great support these associations receive from the Ministry of Social Development & Family to encourage them achieve their mission. (QNA)
