Doha, October 25 (QNA) – Amid almost complete consensus from the whole world waiting to watch a sports tournament at the highest level for the unprecedented preparations, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is receiving international praises, especially to discover the hospitality and Arab culture.

Media people, sports and football fans described this edition of the World Cup as a milestone in the history, putting great pressure on FIFA because it will not be satisfied, in the future, with less than what Qatar has provided to organize an exceptional edition.

In this context, Ahmed Sondos, TRT Arabic correspondent, said in a report that the preparations are very impressive, and what awaits the fans is not just a sports tournament, but a football and entertainment festival, explaining that Doha is currently opening more than 20 new hotels, with 3.6 million rooms during the tournament to receive the large number of fans.

In a televised report for AL24 News TV, it affirmed confidence in the success of the State of Qatar in organizing the tournament even before its start, stressing that the Qatar World Cup made everyone count the days as months, passion and pride because of what has been achieved.

Tunisian journalist Wael Fatoush considered that this tournament will be an exceptional edition in all respects, at the level of Infrastructure, transport, housing and good media marketing, which may make the task difficult for the countries that will host this tournament in the future.

For his part, former Saudi international star Nawaf Al Temyat expressed his pride at being one of the ambassadors of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, noting that the Qatar World Cup contributes to preserving the environment, because there will be no need to use airplanes to transport teams and fans.

In turn, Russian sports journalist Stanislav Rynkevich, in an interview with the Russian Sputnik agency, said that what is being raised about Qatar and the criticism directed at it is similar to the West’s hysteria towards Russia before hosting the 2018 World Cup; in order to influence fans and prevent them from coming to Qatar.
