Brasilia, October 26 (QNA) – Palmeiras continued their lead after beating Athletico Paranaense 3-1 in the 34th week of the Brazilian Serie A.
The first two goals for Palmeiras were scored by Endrick in the 95th and 70th minutes, and the third goal by Gustavo Gomez in the 76th minute.
Matheus Felipe scored the goal for Athletico Paranaense in the 30th minute, while Tomas Cuello received yellow card in the 60th minute.
With this win, Palmeiras raised their score to 73 points at the top of the standings, while Athletico Paranaense’s balance stand at 51 points in sixth place.
In another match, runners-up Flamengo defeated Santos 3-2. (QNA)
