Doha, October 26 (QNA) – Qatar Charity concluded the activities of ‘Children’s Bazaar-2’, which is a program to support children’s capabilities in community entrepreneurship.

The bazaar was participated in by 115 male and female students, supported by several partners, and attended by prominent figures in the field of entrepreneurship.

The participating children prepared a commercial project for each group and sold their own products and surplus toys at the bazaar, aiming to support Qatar Charity’s ‘Al-Aqraboon’ campaign with the proceeds.

In a statement on the sidelines of the visit, CEO’s Assistant for the Programs and Community Development Sector Faisal Al Fehaida said, “This program came as a continuation of Qatar Charity’s efforts to instill the values of humanitarian action and charitable work in children and support and develop their capabilities in community entrepreneurship”.

He thanked the partners for cooperating with Qatar Charity in transforming the love of doing good into passion, pleasure, and practical behavior.

The children’s participation in this event contributed to developing their theoretical knowledge and practical abilities in the areas of marketing, selling, entrepreneurship, and voluntary programs.

The list of the partners, who cooperated in the implementation of the bazaar, includes Bedaya, Qatar Society For Rehabilitation Of Special Needs, and First International Development for Consulting, in addition to many primary schools and personalities specialized in the field of entrepreneurship.
