Doha, October 27 (QNA) – Representatives from Qatar University (QU) meet with higher education institutions from around the world at the International Association of Universities (IAUs) 16th quadrennial General Conference in Dublin, Ireland, which takes place between Oct. 25-28, 2022, to discuss the relevance and value of higher education in future society.

HE QU President Dr. Hassan Al-Derham will speak at one of the sessions entitled “Skills, Competencies and Knowledge for Unwritten Futures: Where do we go from here?”
QU Director of Communications and Public Relations, Dr. Hitmi Al Hitmi said in a statement, “Qatar University participates in the IAU, based on its role as a leading institution in higher education worldwide, to take part in stimulating discussions with distinguished speakers globally, network with IAU members, discuss opportunities for partnerships and to contribute to discussions on the future of higher education.”
The 17th IAU General Conference will take place in Qatar next year, hosted by Qatar University, based on its role as a research-intensive university. (QNA)
