Doha, October 31 (QNA) The Department of Publications and Translation at the Ministry of Culture issued a new book entitled “The Archaeological School of Qatar “1916-1938″ a turning point in the history of Qatar and the Gulf,” prepared by Salma Salah Al Qibti.
The 125 page, eight-chapter book deals with the ancient history of science and religion and getting armed with them, as well as the story of the archaeological school that was established in Qatar in 1916 AD and continued until 1938 AD.
The book also sheds light on the importance of science in that era, and the reasons for the establishment of this school, which established Qatar and the Arab Gulf many, and opened the doors to the race of knowledge that raised us among nations.
The book also mentions the students of the archaeological school whose arms built this country and the countries of the Arab Gulf as well, as this school was the nucleus of attraction that attracted the students of the Arab Gulf who, when they returned to their homes, scattered their white flowers in them.
The same book presents a historical study of the archaeological school in Qatar, the complex social, political and economic events that surrounded it, and the internal and external factors that helped its existence. This study also indirectly sheds light on the reasons for the success and prosperity of this school, and then comes the conclusion to briefly summarize these reasons.
