Doha, October 31 (QNA) – The Ministry of Sports and Youth launched today a club for young entrepreneurs, which brings together a constellation of young Qatari entrepreneurs who have made their mark in entrepreneurship and project development in the social, sports, cultural fields among others.

This club was launched by the ministry in cooperation with a number of parties in the State, including the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Qatar Development Bank, Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Civil Service and Governmental Development Bureau.

The new club, launched by the Youth Affairs department at the ministry, is part of the efforts of the Ministry of Sports and Youth to empower young people, develop their qualifications and open up to the youth category with all their affiliations and aspirations.

In a statement on this occasion, head of the youth centers department at the ministry Mubarak Al Dosari said that the launch of this club is in line with the strategic plan of the ministry 2030/2023, which set the objective to work on the development of youth institutions, upgrading their programs, and expanding the number of youth institutions and their geographical distribution in the country.

Al Dosari stressed that the club, launched today, will be a platform for youth energies in entrepreneurship and honing the skills of young people who are the most important bases of the nation, its greatest investments.

For his part, Ibrahim Khalid Al Sulaiti, president of the club, said that entrepreneurship in the country has now become a pillar of the national economy, at a time when this sector is receiving great attention from the public and private authorities in the country.

He pointed out that taking care of the social, sports and cultural aspects of young entrepreneurs was the missing link in this field, which this club seeks to achieve on the ground through the establishment of a club for young entrepreneurs of the State of Qatar that seeks to bring them together and strengthen the relationship between them through special youth programs under the umbrella of Qatar Vision 2030.

Al Sulaiti added that the new club makers will make intensive efforts to develop programs and events that commensurate with the aspirations of its members, such as economic education, organizing seminars and specialized workshops, as well as recreational and awareness activities in a desire to empower young entrepreneurs, upgrade their skills and seek to make their relationship with each other an integrated practical relationship.
