Doha, November 01 (QNA) – Qatar Ports Management Company (Mwani Qatar) received 319 vessels in October 2022, an increase of 12 percent year-on-year.
In a statement via its Twitter account, Mwani Qatar said that it received 129,482 TEUs, with a growth of 13 percent compared to October 2021.
Building materials increased by 57 percent to reach 57,091 tons. Roll-on/roll-off (RORO) ships surged by 33 percent to reach 6,660 units.
Livestock recorded 22,044 heads, while general cargo reached 161,208 tons.
Mwani Qatar is responsible for managing the nation’s seaports and shipping terminals, but the integrated port and logistics services provider is also playing a more pivotal role.
