Madrid, November 05 (QNA) – The Royal Spanish Football Federation announced that the Spanish national football team will arrive in Doha on November 18, to compete in the finals of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, scheduled for the period from November 20 to December 18.

The Spanish federation also announced that the coaching staff of the national team, headed by Luis Enrique, will announce the final list of names to participate in the World Cup on the 11th of this month.

Spain will compete in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in Group E alongside Germany, Japan and Costa Rica, with its first match being against Costa Rica on November 23.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation confirmed in a statement today that it will play a final friendly match before the World Cup on November 17 against the Jordanian National Football Team in Amman.

On the other hand, the coaching staff of the Jordanian national football team, led by Iraqi coach Adnan Hamad, announced a list of 27 players who will play in the friendly match against Spain on Thursday at Amman International Stadium as part of Spain’s preparation for the World Cup.

The friendly match with Jordan will be the last appearance of the Spanish team, holder of the 2010 World Cup, before heading to Doha to participate in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. (QNA)
