Doha, November 06 (QNA) – The General Certificate of Secondary Education exams for the end of the first semester of the 2022-2023 academic year started on Sunday.
Director of Students Assessment Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Khalifa Saad Al Derham said, in a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), that 14,367 students will take the General Certificate of Secondary Education exams in public schools (Day & adult education), including the private schools that pursue national criteria.
He noted that the examination began in a reassuring atmosphere, according to the arrangements prepared by the ministry, schools, and examination committees inside and outside Doha to help students achieve the desired results while following the necessary health safety standards and procedures.
He explained that the process of marking examination papers usually begins promptly until the last test paper on Nov. 15. He praised the efforts made by all specialists in the examination committees.
On Oct. 13, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced the exam schedules for the end of the first semester of the year 2022/2023, for 1-12 in public schools (Day & adult education), including the private schools that pursue national criteria.
The Students Assessment Department sent detailed schedules of these exams to schools, including the subjects for each grade and stage. (QNA)
