Minister of Environment and Climate Change Meets Executive Director of UN Environment Program

Sharm El Sheikh, November 06 (QNA) – HE Minister of Environment and Climate Change Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Thani met Sunday with Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program Inger Andersen, on the sidelines of the 27th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 27), which takes place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Also, HE the Minister met with head of the delegation of the Kingdom of Sweden to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Mattias Frumerie.

During the two meetings, they reviewed bilateral relations in the fields of environment and climate change, stressing the importance of considering the effects of climate change and its repercussions on the whole world. (QNA)
