Doha, November 10 (QNA) – In celebration of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 being held for the first time in history in the Middle East and the Arab world, Qatar National Library has organized an exhibition about the growth and history of football in Qatar on Nov. 15, 2022.
The ‘goal’ is to portray the journey of football in the country, giving an insight into its origins and showing visitors from around the world how the game began and how it developed through the decades until the culmination of winning the right to host this year’s tournament.
It is worth noting that Qatar National Library is organizing this month a series of workshops related to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, including a workshop for young people on “technology and sports”, in addition to a “sports arts” workshop, as well as a session entitled “Preparing for the World Cup…the Digital Football Championship”.
