Doha, November 13 (QNA) – The Qatar Stock Exchange index started trading Sunday with an increase of 0.98 percent, supported by the rise in the performance of various sectors, adding to its balance 122.65 points, to rise to the level of 12,679 points, a record at the end of trading last Thursday.
Data issued by the Qatar Stock Exchange indicated that the industrial sector index increased by 1.93 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 1.89 percent, the insurance sector by 0.96 percent, the transportation sector by 0.72 percent, the consumer goods and services sector by 00.5 percent, the real estate sector by 0.41 percent, and the telecommunications sector with 0.19 percent.
The Qatar Stock Exchange recorded, at 10:00 am, trading worth QR 109.589 million, distributed among 40.210 million shares, with the implementation of 2765 transactions. (QNA)
