Riyadh, November 12 (QNA) – The State of Qatar won a number of awards at the conclusion of the 22nd session of the Arab Radio and TV Festival, held in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, from November 9-12.

The activities of the 22nd edition of the festival started on November 9 with the participation of representatives from the Qatar Media Corporation, the Arab bodies concerned with media in Arab League member states, relevant regional and international bodies, and a selection of personalities in the fields of media, cultural and arts.

Qatar Media Corporation was represented at the Arab Radio and TV Festival by an official delegation headed by the Director of Qatar Radio Mohamed Nasser Al Mohannadi.

The festival aims to enrich the dialogue on the most successful visions for the development of radio and television production, pushing Arab media to improve on the levels of technology, qualification and training, as well as to keep pace with the rapid technological developments. (QNA)
