Riyadh, November 14 (QNA) – The Saudi national football team continued its training today at its current camp in Riyadh, in preparation for its friendly match against the Croatian national team on Wednesday as part of the fourth and final stage of the preparatory program for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which starts next Sunday.
The Saudi national team players conducted their training session today under the supervision of technical director Herve Renard, with the team expected to conclude its preparations Tuesday with a final training session.
The Saudi national team played 5 friendly matches at its last preparatory camp in Abu Dhabi, where it beat North Macedonia with a goal without a response, drew with Albania with a goal for the same, also drew with Honduras negatively, then beat Iceland with a goal without a response, and tied with Panama with a goal for the same at the end of the third stage of the preparatory program for the World Cup.
The Saudi national team will play in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in Group C along with the national teams of Argentina, Mexico and Poland.
