Doha, November 15 (QNA) – The Digital Incubation Center (DIC) affiliated to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has opened registration for startups and investors to participate in the fifth edition of “Make the Deal” program.

“Make the Deal” is a program that connects promising digital startups with investment companies and local, regional, and international investors to support digital entrepreneurship in Qatar.

The program allows entrepreneurs and startups with digital solutions that harness the emerging technology serving Qatar’s digital economy to find out investment opportunities that enable them to expand the scope of their businesses.

Interested participants can submit their applications until Nov. 24, 2022.

DIC team will screen all applications and will contact the qualified companies to join the”Make the Deal” program which is set to be held on Feb. 15, 2023.

DIC will hold specialized orientation sessions regarding presentations for all selected participants by international experts, and they will be matched with investors before the event. Mentoring sessions will enhance the presentation skills of “Make the Deal” participants, and the program will help entrepreneurs who have established relationships with investors improve their presentation skills.

It is worth mentioning that the best 10 companies will be selected to present to the investors on Feb. 15, 2023.

MCIT established DIC to foster a supportive ecosystem for digital startups in Qatar through its programs and local & international partnerships.

Through “Make the Deal” program, the DIC connects startups with investors from around the world. The past editions of “Make the Deal” program witnessed a great demand from startups inside and outside Qatar, and 15 startups won funding grants from international investors amounting to QR 22.6 million.
