Doha, November 15 (QNA) -The squad of the English football team arrived in Doha this evening, ahead of the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 which will start on next Sunday.
The English team delegation includes 26 players led by the head coach, Gareth Southgate. The team will stay in Al-Wakra City, and will begin its preparation tomorrow /Wednesday at Al-Wakra Club’s playgrounds to train for their matches in the World Cup.
The title-winning English team in 1966 edition will compete in Group B with Iran, the United States and Wales. The team will play its opening match against Iran on Nov. 21, 2022, at Khalifa International Stadium. (QNA)
