Doha, November 17 (QNA) – Germany national football team arrived in Doha Thursday to participate in FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament which is due to kick off on Sunday, November 20.

Four-time World champions headed to their accommodation at Zulal Wellness Resort and will assume their training in Al Shamal Stadium.

Prior to their arrival in Doha, Germany played a friendly match with Sultanate of Oman and won 1-0.

The German team coach Hansi Flick announced the 26-man squad which featured Mario Gotze, who scored the championship goal in the final game of Brazil 2014 World Cup against Argentina.

The German team play in Qatar’s world cup in group E with Japan, Costa Rica and Spain.
