Zurich, November 17 (QNA) – Incumbent FIFA President Gianni Infantino is the only candidate for next year’s Presidential election, said the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA).
A statement from FIFA said that Infantino would be the only candidate when the election takes place at the 73rd FIFA Congress in Kigali, Rwanda on March 16.
The Swiss official was elected as FIFA President in 2016, and was re-elected by acclamation in 2019 for a second term ending 2023. (QNA)
