Baghdad, Baghdad, November 16 (QNA) – Iraqi Minister of Finance Taif Sami Mohammed, met today with World Bank’s Director of the Middle East Department, Jean-Christophe Carret and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and partnership between the two sides in various fields, especially benefiting from all forms of international support for development and strategic projects in Iraq, in addition to supporting the reform efforts implemented by the new Iraqi government.
During the past years, the World Bank managed to assist Iraq in implementing many important projects in the sectors of electricity, agriculture and transportation.(QNA)
