Doha, November 20 (QNA) – Qatar Stock Exchange index began its trading Sunday, down by 0.17 % to lose about 20.31 points and thus fall to the level of 12192 points, compared to last Thursdays closing.
Qatar Stock Exchange data showed an increase in the banking and financial services sector by 0.92 %, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.52 % and the real estate sector by 0.03 %. On the other hand, the insurance sector decreased by 2.14 %, the industrial sector by 0.55 %, the communications sector by 0.54 % and the transportation sector by 0.43 %.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 44.158 million riyals, distributed to 16.693 million shares with the implementation of 1889 transactions. (QNA)
