Doha, November 21 (QNA) – The Egyptian community in Doha offered a host of events, as part of the activities of the Ministry of Culture in conjunction with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The program featured exhibitions of antiquities, painting and landscapes images from the Egyptian heritage.
The students of the Egyptian School presented various performances, starting with the national anthems of Qatar and Egypt followed by musical performance. The program was wrapped up with a documentary about the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The program of activities to promote cultural diversity began last Friday with the Lebanese community, and will continue until Dec. 15th which is dedicated to the Indonesian community.
16 Arab and non-Arab communities participate in the program, and each community presents, on its designated day, its cultural production of art, literature, singing, fashion, food, and handicrafts. (QNA)
