Doha, November 21 (QNA) – The head coach of the Iran national team Carlos Queiroz alluded his team’s loss in front of England team with 6-2 goals to the significant gap in the technical levels between his team and that of England, given players of the latter play regularly in the Premier League.
In a press conference after the match, Carlos Queiroz said that it was clear that the Iranian team found it difficult to deal with the speed of the English players.
For his part, England manager Gareth Southgate congratulated his players for the match they played, although he was unhappy to concede two goals.
He also said that England captain Harry Kane was injured during the match, but should be fine for the next game. (QNA)
