Doha, November 24 (QNA) – Qatar wrapped up preparations for their second group stage match against Senegal on Friday at Al Thumama Stadium, in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Felix Sanchez’s men held their final training session on Thursday at Aspire Zone stadiums. The training session focused on physical and tactical aspects, particularly building an attack, ball possession and controlling flow of the game.
The Spanish might start the game with a line-up slightly different from that of the opening game against Ecuador, particularly in the defense and the defensive midfield.
Forward Mohammed Muntari stressed his side’s preparedness for the desired performance in Friday’s encounter, stressing that hopes still exist to reach the last-16.
Qatar National Team Fan Association intensified efforts in several regions to encourage fans to cheer for the national team against Senegal. The association held an event at Al Annabi village in Msheireb, downtown Doha, where fans renewed confidence in the national team to make a historic achievement. (QNA)
