Doha, November 25 (QNA) – Dutch national football team player, Denzel Dumfries, described the match against Ecuador, which ended in a 1-1 draw today, in the second round for Group A of the Qatar World Cup 2022, as difficult.
Dumfries said in a press statement after the match: “The Netherlands played well in the first half, despite some serious attacks by Ecuador, but some opportunities that could have been translated into goals were missed.”
About the Dutch national team’s match with Qatar in the third and last round of the group stage, Dumfries said to Qatar News Agency (QNA): “Without a doubt, it will not be an easy match, and its difficulty lies in the fact that the Qatari team will enter the match strongly to win, especially after being late in the first and second rounds, so we must prepare well for this match and focus with great care.” (QNA)
