Doha, November 25 (QNA) – Tunisia coach Jalel Kadri said his team will seek to win their match against Australia at Al Janoub Stadium on Saturday in the second round of Group D of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

At a pre-match press conference today, Kadri hoped that they had won three points in their previous match against Denmark, regretting many chances missed in that match. He added that they will exploit chances tomorrow knowing that the match will be difficult and the high level of the opponents requires them to deal with pressure.

Kadri said the support factor and encouragement of the Tunisian fans inside the stadium will help them achieve the best results.

He added that they already snatched one point in the first game from a strong opponent, and they have to prove their abilities, as they need to beat Australia, a team with great capabilities, and showed a distinguished level during the last period, noting that the Australian team’s match against France is not a measure to evaluate them.

He continued by saying that they know very well the weaknesses and strengths of the Australian team, pointing out that they are a respectable Asian team with European standards and are characterized by very high physical levels and distinguished at the level of speed, and are good at dealing with set pieces, but they are like other teams have weaknesses and they will know how to deal with them.

Kadri noted that the Australian team is no less strong than Denmark, adding that they must know how to deal with them. He said the team have 26 players and he has confidence in the group, and the reserve and substitute players will be as valuable as the main players in the squad.

Tunisia’s player Ellyes Skhiri said he will do his best for the national team to achieve victory in tomorrow’s match against Australia, saying they still have a difficult task in the World Cup in order to achieve a good result. (QNA)
