Doha, November 26 (QNA) – Argentine football star Sergio Aguero stressed that respect for cultures in any country organizing the World Cup is everyone’s responsibility, pointing out that the World Cup has the ability to unite and bring nations together, which is what is taking place in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. He also noted that the tournament facilitates cultural exchange which only adds to its beauty.
Aguero said in a statement to FIFA that the World Cup is an event that keeps advancing forward with every new edition, constantly moving on the right path, but never perfect.
The Argentine star added that every World Cup allows one to get to know something new about another culture. There is only one choice, and that is to break boundaries among cultures.
Aguero continued that humanity is living in an era full of uncertainty, conflicts and comprehensive crises, in an ever-divided world, thus, the World Cup is an occasion that brings people together, crossing borders and celebrating together thanks to the magical power of football.
The Argentinian star said that the World Cup means a lot to him, especially that he has participated in the tournament three times, which is the best experience in his career as a footballer.
Aguero indicated that he is keen on supporting his country through the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Sergio Aguero was prominent player in the Argentine national team.
