Doha, November 28 (QNA) – Qatar Stock Exchange index fell at the beginning of Monday’s trading, by 189.88 points, or 1.62 percent, to reach the level of 11545 points, compared to the end of Sunday’s trading.
Data issued by the Qatar Stock Exchange indicated that the consumer goods and services sector declined by 2.14 percent, followed by the communications sector by 1.85 percent, the industrial sector by 1.79 percent, then the insurance sector by 1.62 percent, the transport sector by 1.23 percent, the real estate sector by 0.63 percent, and finally the banking and financial services sector by 0.11 percent.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR 76.618 million, distributed among 22.015 million shares, with the implementation of 2979 transactions. (QNA)
