Doha, November 30 (QNA) – The Tunisian football coach Jalel Kadri hailed the distinguished levels offered by his footballers in Qatar’s world cup finals, especially in today’s game with France, the title holder that ended with 1-0 in the final of the third round of group D.
In a press conference, he said that he is disappointed to be knocked out from the first round after defeating France, scoring draw with Denmark, adding that there is nothing impossible in soccer game as confirmed by his players before the kick off of the game with France, pointing out that Tunisia displayed excellent skills in a strong group and who have been preserving their performance until last moment.
He said the participation of Tunisia in Qatar’s tournament is the best one in the history of world cup tournaments following Argentine tournament in 1978, noting that his team collected four points after defeating France, draw with Denmark and loss to Australia, praising the big support his team received from the Tunisian fans, in particular, and the Arab fans in general, who were the biggest support for the team in the tournament, noting that Tunisian fans are proud of the players’ performance who made great efforts and were upbeat after winning the game with France.
