Doha, December 01 (QNA) – Qatar Ports Management Company (Mwani Qatar) received 269 vessels in November 2022, an increase in transshipment volumes by 1 percent year-on-year.

In a statement via its Twitter account, Mwani Qatar said that it received nearly 116,000 TEUs.

Building materials increased by 50 percent to reach 61,203 tons. Roll-on/roll-off (RORO) ships surged by 30 percent to reach 6,939 units.

Livestock recorded 17,381 heads, while general cargo reached 142,680 tons.

Mwani Qatar is responsible for managing the nation’s seaports and shipping terminals, but the integrated port and logistics services provider is also playing a more pivotal role.
