Doha, December 08 (QNA) – Festival in Motion, presented by Qatar Creates, is a major international dance and music programme featuring more than 55 site-specific performances by some of the world’s most talented artists at Qatar’s most significant architectural landmarks, from 5–20 December. Co-curated by two internationally acclaimed artists: French choreographer and filmmaker Benjamin Millepied, and renowned American composer Nico Muhly. The 13-day, free programme showcases more than a dozen exceptional artists from around the world. The first week of the festival featured performances by the curators, as well as the dance company Mazelfreten, acclaimed dancer Janie Taylor with the L.A. Dance Project, pioneering Moroccan choreographer Bouchra Ouizguen, award winning choreographer Salia Sanou originally from Burkina Faso and American artist, choreographer, and dancer Madeline Hollander.
