Beijing, December 10 (QNA) – China has issued 750 billion yuan (about USD 108 billion) of three-year treasury bonds to support its economy.
The Chinese Finance Ministry said that the bonds will be issued on December 12 and will be issued to specific banks in the interbank bond market, China’s Xinhua reported.
The ministry added that the People’s Bank of China (the central bank) would conduct open market operations with relevant banks.
In early December, local governments in China issued bonds worth about 4.7 trillion yuan (about USD 654.88 billion). (QNA)
