Bonn, Germany, December 25 (QNA) – Morocco coach Walid Regragui is in the run for the 2022 Best Coach award from the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS), following his World Cup fourth-place finish.

This is the first time for Arab and African coach to be nominated in the run for the award that is granted for national managers with big achievements with their national teams.

The list of managers racing for the award included the Moroccan manager along with Argentine Lionel Scaloni, who won the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 title, France coach Didier Deschamps, who finished second and Croatian Zalatko Dalic, who claimed bronze. (QNA)
