Doha, January 02 (QNA) – Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 153.33 points, or 1.44 percent, to close trading at 10,834.4 points on Monday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 76,224,776 from 74,218,318 on Sunday and the value of shares decreased to QR 261,472,399.940 from QR 330,922,647.85 on Sunday.
The indices six sectors ended green zone and one sector ended red zone today. QSE Total Return Index gained 1.44 percent to 22,192.37, QSE Al Rayan Islamic index added 0.79 percent to 4,627.57 points and QSE All Share Index increased 2.42 percent to 3,498.43 points. (QNA)
