Buenos Aires, January 03 (QNA) – President of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) Claudio Tapia praised Qatar University’s (QU) efforts, as it was the basecamp of the Argentine national team during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
In a press conference Tuesday, Tapia said that QU’s efforts since the arrival of the Argentine team to the State of Qatar made it possible for the team to present its best performance and secure the trophy.
The Argentine national team chose QU as its basecamp during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, as the university owns three open sports complexes that provide the opportunity to practice sports in the open air. (QNA)
