Doha, January 03 (QNA) – The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies announced the results of the Arab Opinion Index 2022, which was conducted in 14 Arab countries, with the aim of identifying Arab public opinion trends towards a range of political, economic and social issues.
During a press conference, Executive Director of the Center Dr. Mohamad Elmasry reviewed the most important results of the Arab Opinion Index 2022, pointing to the participation of 945 male and female researchers in conducting the Index survey, which took more than 72,000 hours.
Elmasry also indicated that the 2022 poll conducted interviews with a representative sample that included 33,300 respondents from various Arab countries.
He explained that the current survey was the largest of its kind to be carried out in the Arab region in terms of sample size, the number of countries in which it is carried out, the scale of variables considered, and the volume of data collected.
The Arab Opinion Index 2022 continues the work of seven previous opinion polls, whereby the Arab Center has conducted periodic surveys of Arab public opinion, which provides invaluable data on their opinions of the main issues facing their societies.
The index offers a unique opportunity to monitor changes in Arab public opinion since the first Arab index in 2011. (QNA)
