Doha, January 03 (QNA) – The Qatari football team will depart to the Iraqi City of Basra on Wednesday to participate in the 25th Arab Gulf Cup which will be held from Jan. 6 to 19, 2023.
The Qatari squad will undergo training exercises in Iraq on Thursday in preparation for a match against Kuwait at 7:15 pm on Friday at Al Kut Olympic Stadium in Group B that includes UAE and Bahrain.
The Qatari football squad has completed its trainings on Tuesday in Doha at Aspire Academy’s stadiums and underwent tactical exercises.
Portuguese Coach Bruno Miguel Nogueira Pinheiro finished the technical aspects regarding the team formation that will play in Gulf 25 tournament competitions, as the team include a group of players under 23-years old, along with the footballers who played in FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. (QNA)
