Doha, January 05 (QNA) – Al Arabi defeated Al Ahli 2-1 on Thursday at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium, in Week 8 of the 2022-23 season of QNB Stars League.
Al Ahli’s Yazan Al Naimat opened the scoring in the 28th minute, but Syrian striker Omar Al Somah’s brace in minutes 79 and 86 gave Al Arabi the lead.
This win brought Al Arabi back atop the league table with 19 points, two points ahead of the second Al Duhail.
Al Ahli remained fifth-placed with 10 points. (QNA)
