Doha, January 10 (QNA) – Al Duhail coach Hernan Crespo stressed that Al Duhail want to continue their positive results during tomorrow’s QNB Stars League Week 9 match against Umm Salal at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

During the press conference held Tuesday, Hernan Crespo said: “We went through a normal week of preparation during which we carried out a number of tactical and technical exercises. I know that our team is the best in the standings, but we have to show that on the field and that will help us get the required result.”
“Our victory over Al Gharafa in the last round was good for us, especially since it came after a long break. Now we are facing a new match that will not be easy, which will make us work hard,” Crespo added.

Commenting on the injury of defender Ruben Semedo, Al Duhali coach said: “I am very sad because of the injury of defender Ruben Semedo in our previous match and also the absence of defender Mohammed Moosa. But now he has returned and may be present with us in the coming period. These absences will not affect the team because players like Yousef Ayman and Mohammed Al Nuaimi made a mark for themselves.”
For his part, Um Salal coach Wesam Rizik affirmed the preparedness of Um Salal for their team against Al Duhail, pointing out that all players want to present the required performance.

“We are ready for the match and we know the strengths and desire of Al Duhail with the return of their international players after playing in the World Cup,” Wesam Said.

“We are determined to put up a performance worthy of The Orange Fortress despite the difficulty of the situation because we know very well that Al Duhail will go into the match with great focus and motivation,” added Wesam.

“The team’s preparations during the break were good and, like any team, we played many friendly matches. I am completely satisfied with the preparations during the break and all players lived up to expectations,” Um Salal coach pointed out.

He concluded his statement in the press conference by saying: “The team made strong performances before the break and we were not lucky in many matches. At the same time, we have confidence in ourselves and we remain confident ahead of this match.” (QNA)
