Basra, January 16 (QNA) – Oman qualified for the final of the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup (Gulf 25) after beating Bahrain 1-0 in the second semifinal at the Al Minaa Olympic Stadium in Iraq on Monday.

A goal by Jameel Al Yahmadi in 83rd minutes allowed Oman to advance the final. Oman will play Iraq in the final on Thursday. This is the fifth time Oman is entering the final of Gulf Cup.

Both Oman and Bahrain failed to break the deadlock in the first 45 minutes though the teams had goal-scoring chances.
