Doha, January 19 (QNA) – The competitions of the WTT Contender Doha 2023 held in Lusail Sports Arena continued for the fifth day as part of the Qatar International Table Tennis Combined Championship until Jan. 21, with the participation of 190 male and female players representing 40 countries.

The championship entered the decisive stage with holding of semi-final competitions for the men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles.

In the men’s doubles category, Chinese duo Yuxiang and Zhou Kai qualified for the final along with South Korean duo An Jae-hyun and Cho Sangmin, while in the women’s doubles category Chinese duo Zhang Rui and Kuai Man qualified for the final along with South Korean doubles Shin Yu-bin and Jeon Ji-hee.

In the mixed doubles category, the South Korean doubles qualified for the final match which will be held Friday along with Chinese doubles Lin Shidong and Kuai Man.

The quarter-finals and semi-finals for men’s and women’s singles will be held on Friday with the final two matches taking place on Saturday. (QNA)
