Muscat, January 29 (QNA) – Oil production in the Sultanate of Oman increased by 9.6 percent to reach 388,434,800 barrels until the end of last December, and crude oil production alone increased by 12.8 percent, while the production of condensate decreased by 1.4 percent.

The data issued by the Oman National Center for Statistics and Information indicated that the average price of Omani crude oil increased by 48.4 percent, until the end of December 2022, to reach USD 95.4 per barrel, compared to USD 64.3 per barrel during the same period in 2021, and the average daily oil production increased by 9.6 percent.

The data clarified that the domestic production of natural gas, including imports in Oman until the end of December 2022, increased by 3.7 percent, to reach 52,61,900,000 cubic meters, compared to 50,190,600,000 cubic meters during the same period in 2021.

In addition, the Associated gas production increased by 9.3 percent to 10.64 billion cubic meters, while non-associated gas and imports increased by 2.5 percent to 41.997 million and 900 thousand cubic meters. (QNA)
