Doha, January 31 (QNA) – Qatar Sports for All Federation (QSFA) held Tuesday the eighth edition of the Family Running Race, the second in 2023 which comes as a continuation of the family race series that amounted to six races in 2022.
Held at Al Rayyan Park, the race brought together 50 male and female contestants of different age groups, including 30 children in a unique and fun atmosphere.
Ahead of the race that covered distances of three and five kilometers, the contestants performed light warm-up exercises and then started a range of sports activities including tug-of-war, tennis, badminton, football shooting
Launched by the QSFA as part of a busy calendar, the race offers a variety of events and sporting activities for citizens and residents.
It gathers family members in a one place to do sports in a bid to achieve the federation’s message of creating a broader base of sport participation. (QNA)
