Doha, February 01 (QNA) – The Ministry of Municipality said that 80% of preparations to hold the 10th edition of Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ 2023) have been completed, noting that details and arrangements will be announced later ahead of its launch at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center in March.

In press statements on the sidelines of the Canary, Honey and Vegetables Festival in Al-Rayyan Park on Wednesday, Director of Agricultural Affairs Department at the Ministry of Municipality Yousef Khalid Al Khulaifi said that AgriteQ 2023 will be held from March 15 to 19, noting that this edition will be dedicated to agriculture only, after it was previously concerned with agriculture and environment.

AgriteQ 2023 offers an ideal full-fledged platform for agriculture stakeholders and specialists to exhibit products, agricultural technologies and equipment to a large group of specialists in this sector.

On the other hand, the Canary, Honey and Vegetables Festival is organized by the Ministry of Municipality in cooperation with the Municipality of Al-Rayyan until Feb. 4.

Director of Al-Rayyan Municipality Jaber Hassan Al Jaber told reporters that the festival is the first of its kind at the level of parks and gardens, noting plans to activate the role of parks with a variety of activities.

Yousef Khalid Al Khulaifi said that the festival was held at Al-Rayyan Park to diversify sources of marketing farm products and attract visitors to public parks.

He added that organizing the festival in a park aims is to encourage healthy food, noting that four organic farms that adhere to healthy agriculture means are taking part in the event. (QNA)
