Doha, February 02 (QNA) – The Qatar Philatelic and Currency Centre of the Ministry of Culture organized on Thursday a stamp exhibition, which is held in cooperation with the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), on the sidelines of Katara International Arabian Horse Festival at the Arab Postal Stamp Museum in Building No. 22.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Issa Al Fakhro, a member of Qatar Philatelic and Currency Centre, said that the exhibition showcases the most beautiful stamps of horses and hunting for different countries of the world.

The center displays 6 frames of horse stamps with envelopes, each frame contains 16 panels, and 4 frames for black and white horses, in addition to two frames for hunting stamps, he added.

He explained that the center’s participation comes with the aim of spreading and promoting the hobby of collecting stamps and currencies. The center also creates ways for all its members to practice the hobby in an appropriate manner, and to strengthen ties of cooperation between stamp and currency collectors in the State of Qatar.
