Doha, February 14 (QNA) – Under the patronage of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, the National Service Academy, with the participation of a number of state ministries and institutions organized a number of sports activities in (Miqdam Camp), within the framework of the activities of the National Sport Day (NSD) in the presence of HE Minister of Justice Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri, HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, and a number of Armed Forces senior officers.
HE President of the National Service Academy Major General Saeed bin Hamad Al Nuaimi, explained that the Academy’s participation this year in the NSD witnessed the opening of the (Miqdam) arena, indicating that the arena is one of the distinguished training venues in the National Service Academy, and will be used to hold many team sports activities and competitions.
On the other hand, the Qatari Amiri Air Force participated in the NSD activities by organizing a number of sports events at Al Udeid Air Base, in the presence of HE Commander of the Qatar Amiri Air Force Brigadier General (Pilot) Jassem Mohamed Al Mannai with the participation of brotherly and friendly forces.
