Doha, April 03 (QNA) – Qatar U-23 football team will play in the 49th edition of the Toulon Tournament from June 5-18, as part of their preparations for the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024 in Doha, qualifying for Paris 2024, Qatar Football Association said Monday.
Qatar recently participated in the International U23 Friendly Championship for Asian teams in Doha. South Korea claimed the title of the 10-team tournament after defeating the UAE 3-0 in the final.
Bruno Miguel Pinheiro’s men finished seventh in the tournament.
