Madrid, October 31 (QNA) – Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Vinicius Jr. to extend the player’s contract until June 30, 2027.
The Brazilian star joined Real Madrid in July 2018, aged just 18, and made his debut for Real Madrid Castilla on 26 August.
“During the six seasons spent defending the first-team jersey, he has made 235 appearances, scoring 63 goals and winning 9 trophies: 1 Champions League, 2 Club World Cups, 1 European Super Cup, 2 La Liga, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups,” the Spanish club said in a statement.
“Aged 23, Vini Jr. is already one of Real Madrid’s most influential players of recent years. He scored the goal that clinched the 14th European Cup in the final in Paris in 2022 and was awarded the Golden Ball at the 2022 Club World Cup in Morocco, which Real Madrid won, making it the eighth world trophy in our history.” (QNA)
